I tend to have a lot of scrap pieces of paper left over when I make a set of cards. A typical 8.5″x11″ sheet, folded and trimmed to make a standard-sized 5″x7″ card leaves just enough paper left over to make an excellent bookmark. So, by combining pieces, I can make a beautiful bookmark box set that is perfect for a gift to a reader, a teacher gift, or a “note” that is perfectly sized to reuse as a bookmark.
Probably the most important part of assembling a bookmark set like this is the packaging. I use a folded box sized to hold ten bookmarks
The bookmarks are not usually all the same color, but are complementary in nature.
Here is a template for one size of bookmark boxes I make.
