In Gratitude for this Solar Journey! November 2019

November 27, 2019

It is Thanksgiving this week in the U.S., and I’d like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone who reads this newsletter, to the amazing team that makes up Corbae, and to all of the colleagues and friends I’ve made along my solar and sustainability journey. I am truly grateful to each of you for your impact on my life and your positive contributions towards making this world a better place.

As I’m looking outside one of my office windows, there are birds feasting on the berries from the mountain ash. They are happily chirping at each other. Occasionally, I’ll hear the squawk of a blue jay and the murder of crows living in a tree across the street are always gossiping. It’s mornings like this that really remind me what I’m striving for. I want my children to be able to raise their children in a world where there are forests, clean air and water, and biodiversity in animal and plant life that make this whole ecosystem work.

After reading stories of effective and true extinctions this last week, entirely due to human involvement, I know we still have a long way to go. Extending the full Solar Investment Tax Credit is a step toward clean energy, leading to clean air and water. Check out SEIAs campaign to reach out to Congress to #DefendTheITC.

If in the U.S., I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving full of gratitude, good food, family, and friends. If not in the U.S., know how grateful I am that you are on this journey.
