Thank you!
A short note this month focused on two words - THANK YOU.
Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter every month. Thank you for your commitment to the clean energy transition. Thank you for being in this world doing good stuff. You’re out there working to make the world a better place, and I am so, so grateful!

Making Sense of Branding (or Rebranding or Brand Refresh…)
If you asked 20 branding experts what to expect from a branding exercise, you would get 20 different answers. If you have not been through the process before, that lack of standard can be exceptionally confusing and frustrating. Especially for the engineering, numbers, spec-driven clean energy industry.
What do you need for a successful branding process? What is a “nice to have”? How does one compare when methodologies and estimates are so different?
Most branding processes can be broken into four broad categories, each with different frameworks and outcomes. And while branding agencies, creative firms, and consultants will have their own unique methodologies, you can use these categories to help assess what you need based on your goals.
Imagine sending your kids to a school that didn’t have electricity and no infrastructure to tie that school into the grid. No lights. No fans. No computers. No copiers. Nothing. No electricity.
This is the reality for so many kids in Haiti. Wonderful, dedicated-to-learning kids show up every day to school, taught by hard-working teachers all without electricity.
Brighten Haiti is working hard to change this through the Solar4Schools program. To date we’ve added solar to 10 schools, impacting over 7,000 students. This is just the tip of the iceberg, and we need your help.
As you finalize your Giving Tuesday and Year-End Giving, consider making a donation to Brighten Haiti. Every dollar helps. Thank you!

November Joke
My family told me to stop telling Thanksgiving jokes.
But I couldn’t just quit “cold turkey.”
